Koreisha Senior Care & Advocacy (KSCA) will hold its second bazaar to raise funds to rebuild the Nikkei Nursing Home.
KSCA held its first bazaar in Gardena last October. Supported by numerous organizations and individuals from the Nikkei community, that event was a great success. KSCA thus decided to hold a second bazaar in another area with a large Nikkei population. Thanks to the kindness and understanding of Shumei America Pasadena Center’s Director Eugene Imai, the second bazaar will be held in the church’s meeting hall and patio.
the Urasenke Tankokai Los Angeles Association, under the guidance of Master Soshin Abe. Attendees will be able to personally experience the tea ceremony at these demonstrations, in which tea and sweet cakes will be served. The tea ticket is $7.00. To purchase tea ceremony tickets in advance, please contact Saeko Dickinson(saekodickinson@gmail.com). Tickets will also be available at the bazaar.
We hope to see a large number of people from the Southern California Nikkei community and from the larger community at KSCA’s 2nd Fundraising Bazaar.
